Al Safi Bank, together with the Administration of the Astana International Financial Centre, successfully held negotiations with the management of Masraf Al Rayan, one of the leading financial institutions in Qatar and the Middle East. The visit of the delegation took place within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Qatar.
As part of the delegation from Masraf Al Rayan participated Managing Director of Treasury and Financial Institutions Tahir Hayat Pirzada and Acting CEO of Al Rayan Investment Akber Khan. During the meeting, the two sides discussed key areas of possible co-operation, including treasury operations, asset management and issuance of Islamic securities.
Representatives of both sides expressed confidence in further productive joint work and noted the importance of strengthening financial relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar. The meeting was held in a positive and constructive atmosphere, confirming the mutual desire to develop a long-term partnership.
